Bring your mechanical and electrical commercial expertise to the data centre sector.

Viridis Talent is seeking MEP Cost Consultants interested in Houston-based consultancy opportunities, advising on the systems that underpin mission-critical facilities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing mechanical and electrical estimates, take-offs and cost plans.

  • Analysing bids for power distribution, cooling, controls and associated infrastructure.

  • Reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations for scope gaps and exclusions.

  • Assessing MEP variations, payment applications and forecast costs.

  • Supporting value engineering while maintaining performance and resilience requirements.

We’re looking for:

  • Approximately 4–7 years’ MEP estimating, quantity surveying or cost consultancy experience.

  • The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and equipment schedules.

  • Knowledge of electrical infrastructure, mechanical plant and installation cost drivers.

  • Experience challenging contractor pricing through evidence-based analysis.

Data centre experience is desirable; technically complex industrial, healthcare or manufacturing experience is also relevant.
